I've finally found a house...and i am so damn excited!!!!
This will be my official 'first home' since i'll be sharing it with my friends; meaning we'll be in charge of the entire house without a landlord living under the same roof.

I just hope things will go smoothly...fingers crossed.

It pisses me off when i've applied for an on campus accomodation last year in september and yet, i'm still on the waiting list.
I'm sorry but the uni is seriously SLOW. Can't they sort out their shit quicky?
I mean, finding an accomodation is no easy task especially when i have to find one while i'm still away in Singapore.
So so stuck...i don't know what to do.. should i just go ahead and get an off campus accomodation or wait? And i would most probably need to get my own furniture n stuff if i were to get my own accomodation...and i dont even know if i plan to live in frankston for the next 3 years till i'm done with my degree. 19th Dec-25th Dec (Taiwan Trip with y mates, average Temp: 8-17 deg)

Highlights of the trip

Day1-

We reached the airport approx at 8pm.
After reaching our apartment,we were basically settling into our accommodation when an unexpected earthquake hit Taiwan.

It was definitely an experience. It wasn't anything major as it was a passing quake.

Our apartment did however shake quite abit and for a moment i thought the building was gonna collapse.

Day2-

We had an early start to the day. Headed over to Ximending for shopping and sight-seeing, then to Danshui to a place called Fishermen Wharf for more sight seeing and then to Bu Bu for dinner where scenes from Taiwan's F4 meteor garden was shot at.

Day3-

Off we went to DJ's favourite destination: An outdoor doreamon museum

Day4-

We went over to Sogo, Shilin and then a late night shopping at Shida night market.

Day5-

We went over to a country side in the North-East of Taiwan where we had a crazy bus ride up a freaking steep mountain. There were many AMAZING landscapes and many scenic views. And ended the night with a hot spring 'spa'..=)

Day6-

We visited the Taipei 101 tower and then decided to do some last minute shopping before rushing over to the airport!
Recap of 2009 Part1
26th November- 9th December (Trip to the States; average temp: -1~12 deg)

Highlights of the trip
Nov26th marks the beginning of our family's road trip to USA.
We arrived at JFK international airport on thanksgiving day at 6am after 20 painful hours of flight.
My cousin met us over at the airport n drove to Bayonne where we would be living for the coming weeks.

Day1
We were so shagged, we slept through most of the afternoon and headed over to a family friend's home for dinner.

Day2-4
My cousin took us to an outdoorsy factory outlet with major brands ranging from Gap to PradaSince it was black Friday (the day after thanksgiving), there were major discounts throughout the states.
The discounts were amazing ranging from 50-80% off n i went mental.
I swear, I turned into a shopaholic for the rest of the trip.
Cheack out My buys!

Day5
We crossed over to Pennsylvania; to Princeton town and University.
The weather was gorgeous and the little town of Princeton was just magical.
In the evening, we went over to a family friend's home for dinner.

Day6
We were so tired we decided to stay in for the rest of the day.
The TV became my new best friend.
There were so many channels to choose from showing the latest episode of everything!

Day7
We went over to explore Long island and then did even more shopping...

Day8-9
Me and my cousin Elly went over to Manhattan,NYC to do some exploring.
We went over to Madame Tussuad's, Times Square, Ripley's Believe it or Not, The Empire state building, the site of 9/11, Project runway's workroom, The iron building, MnM's world just to name a few

Day 10-11
We drove over to Washington DC where we went over to the White House, Abraham Lincoln's memorial and other places which I totally cant remember the names.
And for the first time in my life on the way back to Bayonne on day 11th, I saw snow.
It was what I always imagined it to be; soft, icy and cold.
It was amazing

Day 12
We went over to Pennsylvania to a family friend's home for lunch, and dinner.

Day 13
The last day in the US (not surprising) was dedicated to last minute shopping!

Day14
Goodbye NY!
